I don’t believe in “good” or “bad” music or rather I don’t believe they should be phrased that way, I think most of us mean “this is music I like” or “this is music I don’t like” when we say this.

This is not to say we cannot have standards, or cannot hold music to standards but that we need to define our yardstick before making blanket judgements.

One musician’s nightmare will be another’s lullaby.

If you disagree with me then at the very least explore what you mean by “good” or “bad”, qualify why you think so and see if you can really sort it out or if it’s just a matter of your mindset.
